Pretty much like the title states....Precision must be running or my fans dont come on and the card runs a little warmer than need be.

    Some cards don't run the fans till temps hit a predetermined temp. With Precision running, and fans set to auto, do the fans spin?

    Yea I get that, but usually it would hit some higher temps, in the 50C region, before turning the fans on and I see no point for the card to idle at that. I've seen thats normal idle as it shuts off the fans for noise, but I dont even hear it with the fans running as is. 
     
    so...basically this is normal and what I'm doing is abnormal...I keep it around 30C at idle and low MHz

    Set up a custom fan curve so they never shut off.

    Set up a custom fan curve so they never shut off.

    For that, they would use Precision. Which is why they made post #1.

    check the version of BIOS on your card
