Hey guys!
I will do my best to describe the issue I'm facing.
This is my first ever Lian Li case build (lian li 011d-xl ROG is the case if that helps), I was a happy NZXT fan for many years but I wanted to build an ultimate machine with the best possible parts.
The issue I'm facing is the screws. Those that came with the motherboard (z690 dark KP) seem to be way too short. I've somewhat managed to install 6 screws but the last 3 (all 3 are on the right from the I/O shield side) simply refuse to reach the preinstalled standoffs and do go in.
What am I doing wrong? I've tried reassembling the whole thing 4 times now, even asked my friend to give it a try (I thought that maybe I simply couldn't line the holes and standoffs up correctly).
Has anybody else faced the similar issue? Is it possible that the huge metallic backplate piece makes the motherboard way too think for a regular case? Is it supposed to be unscrewed before you mount the MB?
Help :(
