I got this 3090TI on Wednesday, eagerly installing the card to see nothing but issues.  So i have couple of questions.
1. My card is not working on Slot 1 PCI-E, but it works on Slot2, i did the following to fix it (followed evga support instructions).  .  But the card lights up and Fans are running on slot1, but no signal on either of my monitor.  My Bios is latest.
    . Reset BIOS to default (pressing red button on the motherboard)
    . Changed setting PE1 to Gen3 in the motherboard's BIOS under Advanced->PCIe Configuration
   
My older cards 980TI , 2080TI, 3080TI (Which I stepped-up from)  all works in Slot 1 perfectly and no issues.
 
Any one with same configuration as me especially with X299 Dark have the same issue?  EVGA told me to RMA the card, as this is the first RMA I'm doing with EVGA, Will they ship a new 3090TI  for replacement?   Do i need to send the parts that it came with such as power adapter, Eleash etc??  They only ship GPU only or they send the whole new retail box again?  I'm sending the card on Monday.

You don't need to send the accessories. Just the gpu.

I have only one card, I tested putting 2080ti and 980ti on slot 1 and it works. 3090ti didn’t work ( no signal) on slot 1 although its fan spinning and RGB lights on. It works on slot 2

Sorry to hear. I’m waiting on my rma return. Hopefully it will fix everything

When I first got my 3090 ftw3 ultra, it would nit get out of idle clocks. Rma'd and they sent me a new one. Guy said if theres a problem right from the beginning or a couple weeks out, you'll get a new one and I got a prepaid shipping lable.

I didn’t know this. Paid for shipping as well for rma. This card now costs $2495 including shipping/rma/stepup. The prices are going down a lot now ☹️

Received my card today (brand new) from RMA and it worked perfectly.   I require to upgrade my motherboard (from X299 dark) to have the latest CPU and Gen5/Gen4 stuff.  But i will wait for those to evolve better.
