I bought a brand new sealed 3080ti about a month ago and noticed there were some scratches on the shroud when I opened it. The image  I tried to get a shroud replacement from EVGA but get rejected After confirming by our engineer, we could not provide a shroud replacement to customers since it does require some technical know-how to replace it and we try to prevent some issue might be caused by the incorrect assembly. However, we could assist with RMA and please see the instruction below, So I applied the RMA and it was approved yesterday. Based on the instruction, I have to send it to Taiwan, and the shipping (including insurance) will cost around $300AUD (approx. $220USD). I have decided to cancel as I dont think it worths spenting more than $300 for such a small aesthetic damage. I know I'm a bit picky but considering what I paid for this card $2000+ AUD. I think I should get a flawless product at least. I really hope if anyone here can help me.

Not much they can do if you are unwilling to RMA. They wont just send you another shroud to replace it.

Probably a stupid question but did you make sure all the plastic film protective film was removed? I say that because I removed a 1070 not too long ago and found that I had missed a small amount of film.

I just tried to take off the shroud myself.
The process was pretty easy, 4 small hex screws, 3 small Phillips and the shroud came up.

I can’t see the 2 scratches when the led is on. If I were you I won’t ask evga for a different shroud. You may get a b-stock shroud with more scratches and louder fans. I remember reading one post that an OP sent back a great OC card with some blemishes, only to get back a card that was a lousy performer with loud fans. If the card performs well and is quiet, let it be and enjoy it.

Hopefully EVGA could work out sending you the light bar. If not, maybe someone is selling an old card that they modified, and you could harvest just the light bar from an old shroud.
The light bar has 3.. maybe 4 small screws holding it in and is very easy to replace.

I just received the shroud today and installed on my card. It works perfectly and I am very happy about it. A big thank to EVGATech_LeeM and Taiwan support team
