Does EVGA make an 8 pin? I am currently using the 3 6+2 on my 3080ti, and I just hate the 6+2. I know cable mods makes them, but when it comes to psu power, I'd rather stick with EVGA since I'm running their card and psu.

I'm asking because I only see 6+2 in the store, but figured maybe there was a hidden part # or something.

Thanks!

Moving to Power Supply sub-forum for better exposure. :)

    No.

The funny thing is that when graphics cards started to have 8pin PCIe connectors, a lot of PSU makers put both 8pin and 6pin connectors in their kits for a while, sometimes including a 2x6pin to 8pin adapter (or you would use the one included with the VGA) to power these.  It took a while for companies to figure it out and instead offer 6+2 connectors to bridge the difference.

That's so lame. Seems so weird they don't. I guess cablemods is prob fine, they've been around since dirt by now, lol

Nothing wrong with using 6+2 connectors.
