Can I get my $160 back if it will cost me -$6-800 plus to Step up?? Haha.
You should be able to do all of the math of what your step up will cost, without needing to do anything else. You just have to put the work in yourself. It will take like, maybe 10-15 minutes total of your time.
Sure if it was that easy: $1804.99 - $2199 = $395. Plus what tax. Will there be a surprise we gota deduct the bundle savings you had prior of $130? Is thst my price of the 3090? Or is it now worth $1700? All this clouded mystery thst evga can o ly tell me.. but won't till I pay up $160 extra to see my final cost. I can't go to the bos and say hey.. I need to spend $160in order for the privilege to enter the step up program and it will be $385 to upgrade.. but yet I come back and say.. oh it's 7-800+!! I mean.. I'd never hear the end of it!!

Yes, you can submit a request for a 3090 Ti with your card in our Step Up program. You should be able to get an idea of the pricing with shipping and taxes included before you finalize your Step Up request. You can do this by going to My EVGA -> My Products -> View Details. Unfortunately, the 14 day window starts from the date of purchase, so you would need to purchase the extended warranty. Also, please note, as the Step Up program is an optional program, EVGA doesn't offer any exceptions to the rules of the Step Up program. We apologize for any inconvenience. You listed your price at $1804.99. The cost of the FTW3 Ultra is 2199, as you have listed. If the bundle doesn’t show the GPU discounted, it isn’t discounted.
The $1700 price is an instant rebate for purchases made right now, and you aren’t purchasing, as has been explained to you in other threads already.

Then why are you wasting time posting this same thing numerous times a day all over the forum? I’m trying to help but you clearly don’t care. So either do the step up or don’t. If you buy the extended warranty and decide to not step up, you won’t get a refund for the extended warranty. If you do the extended warranty and aren’t happy with the step up price, you will still have an extended warranty. I am not sure what the constant victim mentality is for at this point. You have choices.

If you buy the extended warranty and decide to not step up, you won’t get a refund for the extended warranty. If you do the extended warranty and aren’t happy with the step up price, you will still have an extended warranty.

We know. Thats why we can't know cause I'm not going to spend $160 to find out. I upgrade evertime a new card comes out so an extended warranty is useless to me.

I mean I've blown countless amount of money upgrading my rig already and tossed in another $800+ to buy water cooling so I could build my 13 years old son a rig with my former parts.
Blowing 7k on an outdated rig is a kick to you know what! Now I gota step up just to feel like I didn't do something stupid on an year and a half old tech.
Only God knows what my wife would do if I had to blow another $160 just to see what the cost was to step up my month old card.

Want the title to be different? Edit it. Simple solutions rather than asking others to do everything for you. Thousands of people register within 14 days, hopefully someone can reply to you. Terrible first world problems to have a 3090 with watercooling hardware and think it is outdated. Why did you purchase a 3090 after the early January announcement from NVidia that the 3090ti would be released? Was there a reason you had to buy the 3090 versus waiting a little longer?

24G-P5-3987-KR $1,862.39 as listed on the invoice. Was originally $1919.99.. Used a associates code -3%. Was originally a bundle sale from evga. Recieved a -$90 and -$40 off a keyboard ans psu. The 3090ti Ftw3 Ultra at $2199.99 Tax is 6%. Prob the cheapest.. but maybe 2 days if the price is right. Evga CS did get back to me with a number.. see how good you are haha

Unless they take that 3% associate code discount away it would be 57$ more and 3.42 in tax
up to 530 or so max. But I hope for you is it roughly 470.

Hello You would deduct the MSRP between the two items and add the sales tax of the new item. It will be 337.60 + sales tax for your state. Regards EVGA So.. $337.60 + tax at 6% is $131.99.Comes out to $469.61. Then the $160 crap charge to get into the step up cause I was a few days late registering the card (14 days from purchase), comes out to $629.61.. but I bet they charge tax on the warranty so $169.60.. Make it $639.21. Not including shipping both ways.. and another $10 I hear cause I don't have replacement thermal putty (power conductors) cause I have to reinstall the original cooler. Yes I'm in the Elite program.. and have $40 evga bucks. No idea if I can use that on the step up.. doubt it and prob can't use a associates code either.

Then buy the new GPU with the instant discount. Buy the Hydrocoper ver if you want to water cool.
Easy peasy Bobs your uncle, why get upset over it?
The step-up was meant to make it so if a new GPU comes out in 90 days after you bought a GPU and want the new one.
I'm sure EVGA uses the used GPUs as RMA stock and sells the rest as B-stock

No instant discount on 3090ti's.. I bet I'd still come out ahead doing the trade up over selling it. Used selling for $1500-1600 on ebay for used.. let's not forget the fees. Be a long shot to get lucky to order that HC version. Whatever.. all not worth the hassle most likely. Think about it over the weekend.. and guessing water cooling wont be worth it on the 3090ti just like it's not worth it on the 3090. Power limited even though crazy low temps.. don't help. If money becomes 0 object before the 90 days maybe grab it or a Kingpin and hand the son the 3090 and a new monitor worthy of it.

At this point the 3090 itself is a pretty sweet card. Hold off until the 40 series comes out and see how the reviews are
I wouldn’t bother 3090 to the 3090Ti ver unless it was under a couple hundred dollars and even then I’m not so sure if I would
Save all that money and upgrade when you will get more bang for the buck.
Heck saving the money puts you already 33% of the way there with taxes and fees warranty costs.

Posted in other parts of the forum as well but I suppose here would be more appropriate. Can you use an associate code for the step-up? Do you pay to ship your card first to EVGA? Do you get the free shipping currently being advertised? I am looking for an excuse (i.e., a bit less of a cost) to step up from 3090 to 3090Ti. Right now does not seem very compelling at $430+... So anything to lower that makes the argument tip in the Ti's favor.
