Is there a way to find out when the queue is re opening for orders? Other than checking online regularly?

No reports from the queues yet, but if they are opening up the sku for additional registrations I would expect to see some reports soon - as early as this afternoon.

That's crazy.. people been waiting over a year for a 3080, and I can go in right now and get a 3080 XC3 Ultra Hybrid, and buy with it (at minimum) a $109 PSU and $49 mouse and get a $100 rebate and I'm good to go, no waiting at all.

It’s bonkers. It would be nice to get an explanation from EVGA as to this apparently change in their 30 series distribution plans. Will we see a queue for the 3080 12gb hybrid or will it only be available from EVGA directly through the DIY tool. Etc. etc.

Whelp, since I'm not a social person on the internet I can safely say I will never be able to buy a GPU from EVGA, because I lack the points. I'm not an active forum guy anywhere on the internet. I just want to buy a card to crawl back to my cave and play video games with my son again.
Also, being a not-so-smart guy, I never understood these lists. So please, help me out here.
I have this as my only "true" labeled card, but I never used the forums. Please help me understand this system.

Incorrect. Post count is irrelevant, so spamming will not help your EVGA Score in any way. Only thing that counts from the forum are Blue Ribbon posts, which are pretty rare.

I recieved my notice for a 12G-P5-4877-KL yesterday at 2:23pm est. I have one video card and one ps currently registered and 14 points. I joined queue 3.0 1/11/2022 at 6:14:40am pst. I joined the queue never expecting to be chosen and am quite surprised. To tell the truth, I was "on the fence" about this purchase. Do I want it? Hell yeah. Do I need it? No. I have a 2yr. old rig with a 9700K @ 5.1ghz. and an Evga 2080ti XC with 3+ yrs. left on an extended warranty. It runs all my games at 1440p with maxed out settings at 100+ fps and I'm happy with it. I might be crazy after all the waiting but I'm going to pass. Maybe the next person could really use it. I posted this to show that imo, the queue is random and that anyone regardless of points, purchases or posts is eligible. Don't give up the faith. Good luck.
