4.3 on those e cores is pretty beasty. Tbh I haven't even experimented with a per core with them. Seems like its possible to get more out of them though. Cool info. Yeah my chip hates 5.2 all core. Its possible at 1.39V but again theres minor thermal throttling in r23 30 min loops with 1 core hitting 100c. Tbh I can definitely settle for 2 5.2 cores rest 5.1 the difference is so small. My 3600 1:1 1T ram kit running at 13-13-13-28-280 kicks on any ram kit on z690 when it comes to gaming.

My Setup
-ASUS PG259QN, XG248Q
-Lian Li 011 Dynamic
-MSI Z490 Meg Ace
-10900K 5.2GHZ

-Artic Freezer II 360MM
-16GB Viper 4400MHZ
-3080 TI Founders

-EVGA 750 P2

New I/O panel. I love creating things that didn't exist before.

Sorry, I can't figure out how to post photos here. How to add photos to the gallery? Imgur links won't work. What is the point of a build thread if you can't post pictures easily? Too many constrains and dependencies......

I'm in Chrome, so what I do is click on your imgur link, and once in imgur, I right-click on the photo and select "Copy Image Link".  You can also select "Open Image in New Tab".  You'll notice that the image link now ends in .jpeg, which can be posted on the forums.  Go back to your post, click the "Insert / Edit Image" button, then paste the link with the .jpeg in there, and you should be good to go.

Yeah this doesn't last for 30 minutes. R23 crashes at some point as some of the P cores top out at 100C on repeated runs. Better cooling required. Also waiting for the riser cable for a graphics card. Right now all is running on the integrated graphics. It is weird that I can pull E cores 1-4 to 4.3 and the other 4 only to 4.2 Setting all to 4.3 is a no go. Need to see which are the ones failing. Did not try to OC the DDR5 yet. Remarkable that the Z690 classified doesn't crash unless you completely over do it. Only R23 stalls. My Asus maximus extreme XII with a 10900K at 5.2 always tanks needing a restart.

Did not expect to run a 6 year old 1080 in my latest build. But here it is out of retirement.⁦⁩

I changed the position of the CPU block around and it may not matter much how it is oriented. Max R23 score in the old position was 29645 in the position shown by Ekwb 29139. All P core 5.2. Ecore 1-2 4.3, E core 3-5 4.2 E core 6-8 4.1.

The rads are in the back stacked next to each other.

Are you still hitting 100c with R23?

With my 12900kf, a 240x45mm rad and 38mm 173cfm fans at 100%, I still tap 100c with tiny fluctuations to 99c.  What is interesting is P core 5 and sometimes 6 gets the hottest with the rest consistently under 100c between 95-98c.

But R23 is so brutal.  Cyberpunk uses up about 50% cpu, and I can keep the kf averaging around 60c.  XTU seems very wonky as I could never make it do what I wanted with vcore.  I started tweaking more with the bios, but I don't know if the MSI allows me to lower the clock/vcore of only 2 cores.  I'm getting a classy soon so for now I stopped messing around with the MSI.  But we all know games will eventually use more than 50% just like how Cyberpunk was using my 3700k almost at 100%.

With reading everyone hitting 100c with everyone's custom water systems, I keep thinking about swapping the 12900s lid to a copper one.

I was able to get 30067 in R23 with 2 P cores at 5.3  rest on 5.2 and E core 1-4 4.3, E core 5-6 4.2 E core 7-8 4.1 when the room was really cold around 45F. But yes, some cores still hit 100C. The water temp never goes above 52C though

You are quite inventive. A very nice open build case. At first glance, I thought the front fans were a reflection versus the rear mounted rad. Was also wonder what company made it. :) [Old eyeballz] I like it, nicely done!

Thanks. I designed and 3D printed the frame. It is the Open PC frame 3. I will make it available soon.

As good as they possible can be be in a water cooled setup with 2 360mm Coolers and 1l of coolant. My 12900K is a power hog running at 5.2 all P cores all this time without issues. I am actually updated the design of the PC frame and I am printing the parts right now.

Nice. I have a similar build. Z790 Dark KP, 13900KS with a Magnitude block, 2x 420 30mm thick Rads. I have also a 4090 in the same loop. On default settings I am getting instant 100c on Cinebench.
