I was having a lot of issues with the Windows 11 update/installations at first. After a few Windows 11 updates, I can honestly say that Windows 11 is now about as stable as Windows 10 was for me.

I was having a lot of issues with the Windows 11 update/installations at first. After a few Windows 11 updates, I can honestly say that Windows 11 is now about as stable as Windows 10 was for me.
It seems it's been hit or miss updating from W10 to W11 for some. I did an in-place update the 1st time without any problems. After a couple days I reverted back to my W10 OS because I didn't like the lack of taskbar functions or the Start menu. Everything worked fine. A couple weeks later I decided to give it another try. Another in-place update worked without issue's. This time I kept it and even though I don't like some things with W11, I'm getting used to it. Side note: As far as performance goes for gaming or just general use, I see no difference between W10 or W11.

Nice timing.. got notified of your post, I hit 'check for updates'.. nothing. Waited 2 minutes, hit 'check for updates' again, and there it was, hot off the press. Not much in it for W10 though.. Windows 10, version 21H2 will have a scoped set of features focused on productivity and security.- Enjoy WPA3 H2E standards support for enhanced Wi-Fi security
- Get GPU compute support in the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW) deployments for machine learning and other compute intensive workflows
That's it. Lots for W11 though.

Not much in it for W10 though..
It's LTSC. That's the point. Very similar to 1809 except even more compatible. I've got a 3 months XBL voucher to use, but I need a newer Windows version for that. It's out for OEM's and a demo version at the moment. Normal and IoT versions.

Ahh ok. The Microsoft LTSC, or Long-Term Servicing Channel, is a branch of Microsoft products (including Windows 10, Windows Server, and Office) designed for static systems which cannot, or will not, be updated for years at a time.
Now I understand why you're excited. :)

Well I upgraded to W11 today and the only problems I've had is spending time uninstalling the bloat that I don't want. I had some photos that I took this morning and had no problems editing them in Adobe Photoshop or in Lightroom where I did a few of them. So all that is good.

yeah, WIN 11 is ok... but still has some annoying little issues...nothing worth upgrading too over 10 IMHO

No issues so far with the Win10 updates from yesterday. I want to move to 11 (via a fresh install instead of updating a 2 year old Win10 install) but I'm holding off after seeing there are apparently color management issues in Win11 and I use DisplayCal to calibrate my monitors with .icc profiles for Photoshop/Lightroom editing (as a hobby but still).
