On the Way: EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 K|NGP|N HYBRID GAMING, 24G-P5-3998-KR, 24GB GDDR6X, iCX3 Technology, HYBRID Cooler, OLED Display, Metal Backplate
I wanted the Water Block as well but I did not get it while it was In Stock and now it is NOT In Stock so it really makes it hard to buy EVGA Hardware anymore.
I waited months and months and was really hoping for the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA HYDRO COPPER GAMING, 24G-P5-3989-KR, 24GB GDDR6X, ARGB LED, Metal Backplate

Now the real question is will EVGA Ever restock the EVGA HYDRO COPPER Kit for EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 K|NGP|N, 400-HC-1999-B1?
At least I could sign up for Auto Notify
$1,406.73 after using all my EVGA Bucks, Odd as well I had to also pay $32 for shipping as well.

congrats on the new toy

you might want to look for a water block that has an active cooling backplate ... apparently RAM mounted on the Back gets toasty on 3090 - when pushed

Thanks,
Do they or anyone even make one for this Graphics Card?

I did fine this one:
Bykski GPU Copper Water Cooling Block for EVGA RTX3090 RTX3080 RTX3080Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming (5V LED GPU Block with Water Cooling Copper Backplate)
Amazon
But not showing support for the KP Card.
Maybe

I ordered the Signature GPU Block - Kingpin 3090 so it should be here in time to install.

I will play with the GPU on X299K Rig that now has a GTX1080Ti Hybrid Graphics Card.
Then I will replace my Z390 with the 2080 Kingpin with the EVGA Z590 DARK and the new RTX 3090 Kingpin and cool it all with my Chiller.
I found out that I may not be able to use this Water Block on the Z590 Dark

Well maybe I should have waited until the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin is out, but then it would take another year before I would get one

My 3090KP will be here today so I was out in the garage looking for where in the "you know" did I pack my computer tools and found a brand new unopened 2080 KP Water Block. I got for my second card but EVGA would never let me order another one.
I also found two 1080 Ti FTW3 HC along wit two 1080 Ti HC and even two 1080 TI FTW Hybrid Kits and two 1080 HC wow I really stuffed stuff away
Well at least I have some good backups for my current cards, I might even change out my 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid Cards and put some HC on them and build a new rig and put both of them in one rig. No I only have find to Tools

Odd that I could not add an Affiliate Code code when I registered my KP.
Has EVGA done way with the Affiliate Code Program?

I find UPS to be the cheaper of USPS or UPS, not sure about FedX, I would never use FedX
Too many packaged left out in the pouring rain, UPS and USPS will open the porch door and place it there.
We ship fairly often to FL. and UPS cheaper than USPS and arrives on time and in one piece.
But I do go right to the UPS warehouse or right to the post office to ship, not a  shipping store.

Nice telescope and pics Bill. Real nice setup.
I have the Celestron 130SLT not bought any cameras, was thinking about it.
Wish I could find a new place out in the country with no street lights.
Light pollution at my house makes it a bit more difficult to get good views.
Real-estate prices here are through the roof though.

Thanks Bill,
One nice thing about astrophotography is you can image with Light Pollution and image what your Eyes cannot even see, at least my eyes.

I got notified today that the EVGA HYDRO COPPER for the GeForce RTX 3090 K|NGP|N, 400-HC-1999-B1 card was available today so I went ahead and ordered it being it will take months to get the Optimus EVGA Kingpin's Signature GPU Block.

My son in law has the google pixel 6 pro and he said it has a setting to take astrophotography pics
I have an adapter that can put a phone on a scope or a telescope.
Next time I take it out too his house will see if we can get any pics. Not expecting much though.

It takes time to learn this, at least for me so do give up.
The hard part for me was the Post Processing of the image.
Taking them and Stacking them and all was easy to learn only need to use the right application.
I could not do this with my iPad so I use a Windows 10 Computer to image and to Post Process the images.

One of my first images from back in 2003 or 2004.

M57 Ring Nebula (I will image this in late May this year)

If I can find your address I will send you a Meade Instruments 645002 Lunar Planetary Imager - Guider - Monochrome. Link
I is mono only but still a good way to learn and it is a good Moon Camera. (Software Link)
And later on if you get into this you can use it as Guide Camera, I can even send you a Guide Scope.

Wow! Running Einstein@Home  Tasks on the KPE running One Tasks shows 655 Watts on my UPS Unit.
No Tasks running my UPS Unit shows 230 Watts so the KPE alone is running 425 Watts.
This is 200-250+ Watts more than any other BOINC GPU Task to include Folding.

There was a cricket match where the cameraman focused on Jupiter. Crazy how powerful those professional sports cameras are!

Downloaded Windows 11 today and installed it on my Z390 Dark Motherboard and I did have to enable Trusted Computing (TMP) in the Bios.
I hope all goes wells as I want to test all the BOINC Projects as well as Folding before I update all my hosts.

Windows 11 It is like going from Windows 98 to Windows 7.
Menus really SUCK, now instead of 2 Clicks to run normal commands it now take 4 Click.
I cannot see the host on the network not even itself on the host.

At least Windows 7 Image Process is still working.
I am NOT going to update my other computer until I am FORCED to.

Hello,

The 400-HC-1999-B1 doesn't have any thermal paste on it. It will have thermal putty already applied. It is the same standard putty that we use for anything that needs thermal putty.

Good news as far as my X299 Dark setup goes.
I have changed my Z390 Dark + RTX 2080 KPE for the Z590 Dark + RTX 3090 KPE
So I got a second EXC-800 Portable 800W Recirculating Liquid Chiller, (Refurb) so I am setting up my X299 Dark with the RTX 2080 KPE.
I needed to order two new SSD Drives so I will not have them until Monday but The EXC will be here today.
This way I will be ready for the 2022 Tour de Primes.
