Hi, with the XR1 Lite plugged into my computer via the USB 2.0 port, HDMI audio is detected and functioning; however, while plugged via the USB 3.0 port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A), the HDMI audio is detected but not working. Sometimes the sound control will lag and close itself. I don't believe I'm the only one who's run into similar issues with plugging into USB 3.0 as one user's device would fall out of USB 3.0 mode (Blue LED) to USB 2.0 mode (Flashing Purple). EDIT: All cables used are stock including the HDMI cable that comes with the Nintendo Switch EDIT 2: I uninstalled the NVIDIA Broadcast app and I have not run into any audio issues. I hope this interference will be fixed in a future update

This is a confirmed issue. There is currently a new firmware to update the XR1 Lite to fix the audio issue. You can find the new firmware in EVGA download section. The problem I am having is that the firmware update will not work for me. Good Luck.

I can confirm this also. I get NO audio coming from my Series S when using USB3.0 but using 2.0 works no problem. Does anyone have a fix for this? I've updated the latest USB Firmware 01.04.06.06.0501 and MCU Firmware 09.0a

Can confirm that the newest firmware doesn't fix. I bought two of these devices and both of them drop audio constantly. These were shipped to me with the newest firmware. I've even tried disabling HDCP to see if that fixed, but still having the same issue. Adding an audio capture source using the XR1 Lite still drops audio as well. I'm really hoping that you guys fix this issue because spending $160+ on two capture cards for them not to work is frustrating. I have no issues with the video, just audio (which is just as important). Here's what I've tried: - Two different XR1 Lite capture cards
- Three different computers
- Different cables (all of the ones I've been using are stock, but I've even tried using my Oculus USB-C to C cable to see if it were a bandwidth issue)
I've made sure that my video drivers and audio drivers are up to date. The other computers are all up to date. I've double and triple-checked everything. This comes down to an issue with the device.

I'm afraid I can also confirm no audio input, regardless of the OBS settings here. I've seen this issue mentioned a lot online, disappointing to see it seems the device itself is faulty in nature

I'm currently dealing w/ this same issue but with a XR1 Pro! I get video but no audio, updated all drivers and latest firmware.

In OBS windows, my audio was fine for about 30 seconds, then the audio will drop but periodically come back (about 3 seconds off, 0.2 second on, 3 seconds off, 0.2 seconds on, and repeat).
Then using OBS under Ubuntu, the audio seems always OK. So I guess for me I'll need to use ubuntu to record then.
(all tests were done using usb3.0)
