Fast forward to this weekend, when I finally got to get the build going and ran into an issue (written up on the X570 forum) which chased down the issue of 'no post, flashing lights @ PS power-on', to the motherboard cable from this set.  
 
RMA requires a ticket.
Ticket requires registration
Registration requires a serial number
Not seeing a serial number
 
So.. any grand thoughts how to proceed?

   I didn't spot a phone number looking wherever I was.
   One reason I've kept coming back to EVGA, when I have had trouble, they've always been really good about getting it sorted out.  Too bad it's so darned rare these days!
