I got my first 3090 back in Nov of 2020. Lasted 8 days before it died while playing The Witcher 3. Haven't played the game since. Kinda paranoid I guess. My replacement has never had any issues and runs great. There's a little less than 2 years left on the warranty and I've been wanting to play New World since release and we all know about the issues with the 3000 series and that game. But it's not just New World I want to play. There are other games I want to play but I'm so paranoid about the card dying if I play games I haven't played yet, like Halo Infinite or Cyberpunk. I know there are little workarounds like capping frame rates and lowering the power limit or whatever, but if there's a chance it will inevitably happen, should I just risk it? The card's still under warranty and if I have to RMA, I'll get a more recent rev. (mine is rev. 0.1)
