I am new to overclocking and would it be worth it to overclock my gtx1050? Would I really see any performance increase or just decrease the life of the already six year old card. Just don't want to have it burn out during this GPU shortage.

I probably wouldn't just to maximize your GPU's lifespan. You probably wouldn't see a huge improvement anyways since the GTX-1050 2GB doesn't really have adequate cooling for overclocking so you wouldn't be able to push it very far.

If you do decide to OC your GPU, make sure you have an adequate PSU, since when you overclock your GPU it will begin to draw more power then it initially would.

    Hopefully this helps!

The GTX-1050 TI is extremely underrated, and no one can tell me otherwise.
