Dear Forum, 
 
I would appreciate any information concerning the Z490 Dark KNGPN Edition compatibility with the 11900k, since i am planning updating my 10700k.
At the moment i am running fully stable with bios 1.06.
Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

    According to your knowledge, can i run the 11th Gen 11900k on my Z490 Dark KNGPN?
    I know that some 400 chipset platforms support the new Gen.

    It really wasn't that great when I tested mine in it so I wouldn't bother, evga has not supported it at all and only given us the 2 beta bioses and provides no updates since then while releasing 10th-gen only bios updates.  If you are looking to upgrade I would get alder lake instead (12th gen).

    You would be better off upgrading to a 10900K. It is more powerful and you do not have the Gear 1/2 nonsense on the memory to deal with.

    10900k does not have gear1/gear2, only 11th and 12th gen CPUs have that.
