Posting on the forums doesn't gain any points.  Helping people on the forums does.  There's a difference.

Really?
And how exactly do you help on the forums?  Is it not by posting?

If you read a little bit up in this thread, you will find the answer. Make posts that will get you a Blue Ribbon.

Yes, thank you.  I read it the first time.
My point remains the same:  you get your points by posting.
You can call it "blue ribbons" or "pink unicorns".  It doesn't matter what you call it, because the result is the same.  You get your points by posting.
You won't get any blue ribbons without posting, right?  So let's just call a spade a spade.

I see what you're saying, but it comes with the caveat that the post needs to get a Blue Ribbon. Why? Because a Blue Ribbon post gets you 2 EVGA Bucks, which is one of the areas that helps your EVGA Score.

All Blue Ribbons are posts, but not all posts are Blue Ribbons. You could spam 1,000 posts all day every day if you really wanted to and still not impact your EVGA Score one little bit. You could also post once a month and could have it impact your EVGA Score. Quality content is what matters, not post count.

Thanks Kram36 for using my earlier post as an example :) cheers!   - and thanks to the mod who approved it.

EVGA needs to stop holding their stock back, get rid of the queue and the scalper DIY deal. <----On Topic!

Newegg has plenty of 30 series cards in stock and some of them you can by more than one card on.

https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007709%208000%20601357282%204131&Order=1

Newegg dropped the price on the MSI Ventus RTX 3070 Ti to $919.99, after EVGA's taxes and shipping, the MSI card only $36 more than an EVGA RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming. I have a MSI Ventus 3070 that I got from Best Buy and it runs just as good as my EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra Gaming card.

Newegg will also let you buy 20 of them!

I'll buy from Newegg, I've had no issues with Newegg. I don't buy open box Intel motherboards without being able to physically examine them either. Soon you will have the same issue with AMD's new AM5 motherboards. Steve Burke's stupid buying decisions doesn't dictate my buying preferences.

Except there is a wider spread issue with Newegg returns...    Especially when they left the RMA sticker from the vendor on the mobo before selling as open item. Open box and damaged misrepresented is two different things.   I'm currently on a open box Asus mobo, seller was up front, working GREAT.  Open box doesn't mean trash like the mobo in the GN videos.

I've never had an issue with an open box motherboard from Newegg, because I don't buy open box motherboards without being able to inspect them. This has been an issue every since Intel released their first LGA motherboard in 2006. You would think Steve Burke would be that smart, guess not.

Why is it that some products do not display the "Queue sign-up is temporarily disabled" message but you still can't sign up? Is EVGA just playing with us?

They are not allowing any additional people to get in line till they fulfill the current queue for those products.

Yes, I get that, that's not the issue.  The question is why, if you can't sign up, don't all items display the "Queue sign-up is temporarily disabled" message?

Got a couple examples?  Might just be some programming that isn't consistent on the pages.

If you go to  www.evga.com/products/productlist.aspx?type=0&family=GeForce+30+Series+Family&chipset=RTX+3080
then P/N: 10G-P5-3889-K does not show the message, at least for me.  Same thing on half a dozen other pages

Just FYI I read that for 3.0 score you need to upload your purchase invoice to get maximum points. I uploaded the receipts for 2 PSUs and got 9 more points.

Are you in NA? If so there are the 3080 12GB FTW3 and 3080 Ti XC3 cards in stock.

Here are all the cards that have been in stock ready to buy so far.
