All cables in fine. Just pulled a 5600x out and put in a new 5950x and basically the same problem but with code 0d on the read out, evga support is a joke even they don't even know their own post codes. Had same issue before finally the 5600x worked. But am now having exactly the same problem now. I either get 00 or 0d and fans go to 100%. Red power led light isn't on when power supply is on yet everything is plugged in, the pc worked all day no trouble until you swap a cpu. This board must really hate cpu changes. I reset the bios before taking out the 5600x. I regret going evga has been an awful experience for overpriced gear and terrible support

Got it to turn on but fans go to 100%, code read out shows 00 and no post. Manual states it's CPU related however this system worked earlier and i know the cpu is good. Only had this running for about a week now. Absolutely disheartening

I've been having a similar issue, has happened 3 times over the last few months and twice in the last week...each time ive gaming
the manual also says that typically it's not the CPU causing it, but one of the CPU cables; the first time it happened, I found that one of my PCIE sleeved extender cables had come somewhat loose and that my AIO block wasnt quite as tight as it had been when I first put my rig together. This last week, ive been unable to pinpoint what exactly has been causing the problem, but I removed all my motherboards PSU cables on both ends and re-inserted them...
If it happens again, I'm going to remove the sleeved extenders I use for flare and try connecting directly to OEM PSU cables; there's a possibility of a short, or some other issue with those cables.
dont know if this will help you, but worth a shot checking your PSU cables, and even trying a diff PSU if you are able.

Either way, EVGA will def stand behind their product if it comes to RMA...I know it's a pain but you wont be left high and dry by their team as long as their is no physical damage to the board.

best of luck, and please update if you end up finding the source of your issue.
I've had opposite experience with their support. They have no clue what their own post codes mean and have been really unhelpful. Board is in perfect condition has been treated with care but am losing my patience with it at the moment always one problem after the other
