Hello! Just yesterday, Jan 6, 2022, I noticed some issues with both YouTube and a game I was playing (M&B II: Bannerlord). I was heavily dropping frames while in combat(more graphics heavy instance) and Firefox was automatically dropping video resolution down to 480p or entirely freezing on frames but still transmitting audio. I closed my game and opened up the Precision X1 app to make everything was working well and sure enough I see the image down below! Hopefully Imgur is trusted enough to link here.

After visually confirming the fan has stopped, I grew worried and decided to check on here if anything can be done. I have restarted my entire system at least 3 times since finding the issue. I opened up my case and took a small q-tip to clean off dust from the fans (even though I just cleaned it out right before the holidays) to make sure somehow that wasn't it. I turned off the system, unplugged, and resocketed the entire GPU to no avail. I think I can say I have a dead fan and was hoping to find out what can be done to solve this issue?

1) Check your product page
https://www.evga.com/community/myProducts.asp
and see if your card is still under warranty RMA it to get the fan replaced. OR

2) You can go online EBAY/china shops and buy a replacement fan and replace it yourself.

Personally I would do option 2 as you don't know that kind of condition the replacement card you get in return will be in.

It is still within Warranty, but you think it's better to just try to replace the fan(s) myself with new ones?

Go look at videos showing how to replace GPU fans on youtube. If you think it's something you can do replace the fan. The card is under warranty you could just RMA it just keep in mind that you need to fully test the card you get back just to make sure you get a correctly functioning card in return.
