Is there any way to turn off the darn Blue LED on the Supernova 220-P5-1000-X1??  I have used black tape but I sure wish there was a way to just switch it off altogether.

    Short of voiding the warranty to gain access to the blue LED there appears to be only two methods of turning off the incredibly bright blue LED on the back of the power supply;
    1: Turn off the AC mains
    or
    2:Cover it with black tape

    Great power supply otherwise...

    oof, glad i saw this. was strongly considering saving the 10 bucks and going with the p5, guess i'll go with the p6 to avoid yet more gauche RGB. my pc tower isn't far from the head of my bed.

    Mine is across the room, it lights up the whole room!  And since it doesn't seem to be capable of handling my system in ECO mode (Trips after a few hours in ECO mode) its being replaced.
