I just got the mouse delivered and I plug it in, download the EVGA RGB software, update the firmware then begin attempting to use my mouse. Well it only takes about two minutes before I notice the DPI settings start to change randomly. Sometimes it goes very high, sometimes it goes very low. Seems to be random. Obviously, an uncontrollable DPI makes the mouse unusable. This is not a good first impression of an EVGA mouse.
 
 Is there any way I can fix this short of RMAing the mouse? I haven't even used it for 10 minutes total yet when I noticed the issues. 
 
EDIT: Tracked down the issue. Mouse changes DPI every time I scroll the mouse wheel up or down. Is it busted?

Can you try doing a factory reset 

If you mean through the RGB software, yes I tried that. Didn't work.

If you can try on a different system. If the issue still persists contact our support team directly for a warranty replacement. 

I tried something else after a second factory reset failed; I went into the macro settings and disabled the Profile buttons just below the wheel. When I disabled them, the DPI changing appears to have stopped. I only tested it for about 5 minutes, so I need to test longer but it would appear that the wheel scrolling is somehow pressing those buttons.
