I was thinking of purchasing a 2060 ko (06G-P4-2068-KR) to use until I could get the card stepped up. It is part of a bundle from an authorized dealer so I do not know how much the card is worth towards step up. Does anyone know how much of a credit evga will give from this card as part of a step up?

tldr: You have to figure out how much the bundle is discounted. Take the percentage of the discount and apply that to the MSRP of the card.

Just a heads up on this - I picked up this card from Antonline and did the whole registration process and uploaded proof of purchase. Upon trying to apply for the step-up program I see this: "geforce 20 series family. This product is not available for Step-Up. Please read the terms and conditions of our Step-Up program."

Antonline is an authorized retailer. Nothing on EVGA's stepup page (linked above) seems to indicate that a 20 series product doesn't qualify for stepup.
I would contact EVGA directly and complain about misleading marketing and terms.
All the terms say is "qualifying" product, but does not define what a qualifying product is. Anywhere! (that I can see)

20 series cards are not available for step up, and hasn’t been for quite a while. You need to step up to a 30 series GPU. The website doesn’t care what you are coming from, only what you are going to, as long as you purchase from an authorized retailer and upload your receipt. That may have caused a little bit of confusion, but shouldn’t stop you from being able to step up.

If receipt is able to be verified then it will qualify just like any other retailer regardless if it is 20 series or not. I think you might be confused on what he meant. 

Still curious what evga credits that particular 2060. I hope when one of you guys get your step up approved, you come back and let us know the price.

They responded to my question about itemized invoice not 100% directly but said it was eligible for step up and he mentioned they'd be crediting 329.99 as that is msrp. I've read multiple times from different posters claiming antonline EVGA bundles are 100% MSRP which is obviously BS.

That makes that antonline bundle garbage then....

MSRP is all you will ever get for a step up credit, no matter how much is paid in total. EVGA doesn’t make any more than what they would have selling the product themselves, so retailers adding a “premium” over the MSRP only hurts the customer if they are paying more than MSRP, and really pads the pocket of the retailer. EVGA won’t take a loss due to a retailer adding a markup.

Yeah. What irks me is the dozen or so posts around discord and various forums I've read over the last couple weeks claiming Antonline sells at MSRP, or just a couple dollars more at most. Pure disinformation. I also read that EVGA goes after their authorized dealers if they're caught selling over MSRP. I guess more disinformation. Or if they do, maybe bundles are how they weasel out of trouble. "added value".
 
Double edit: it'd be easier to spot when you're being had if EVGA kept their MSRP information available as well.

For instance, if the CPU, board, RAM, drives and power supply come to around $700 on their own and then you are being charged $1500 for the build, you are getting hosed. Never in the history of RTX 2060s have they ever retailed for $800.


As a general guide, when the original RTX 2060 6GB launched it had a MSRP of $349.99. The "Super" 8GB variant had a MSRP $399.99, then later on EVGA released a custom "KO" variant with 6GB again but had a MSRP of $299.99

$299 is not 329.99. Just saying. These numbers aren't static. There's no where on google that says that's the MSRP. The 299.99 number is there on google, not on evgas website but on different sites. But it's wrong in regards to this card or evgas updated MSRP. Off by 30 bucks. And the first commenter was off by as much as 70 in his guess!
 
I knew I was paying more than MSRP, I was just hoping for a little more is all. GPU hunting for just a month or 2 drove me a little crazy. Not trying to piss anyone off. Just a little venting, fat lot of good that does. Time to move on to my next crisis.
 
 

I never meant to give you pinpoint accurate estimates for EVGA cards only to get you in the ballpark to give you a general idea of what you should be paying for them if you were in the bounds of MSRP.
 
The figures I quoited were for the FE models direct from Nvidia as to what the range of RTX 2060 cards MSRP was.

I recently bought the 3060 antonline bundle and would like to step up, but the invoice only gives a total, so I'm wondering when calculating did you just say your card was worth msrp?
 

No one knows the MSRP. Just put in your full bundle price and they will tell you the MSRP when your step up comes through
