TechTimes - "Call of Duty: Warzone" Pacific Update Delays to December 8; Speculations on Activision Issue Continues
" ‘Call of Duty: Warzone's’ Pacific Update and ‘Call of Duty: Vanguard's’ Season 1 release will be delayed by almost two weeks, releasing by December 8 says the developers of the game. Activision did not reveal why the game got delayed for this release, however, it may be so that the current issues it faces are the reason for its disputes now.
Nevertheless, the game brings a new special focus of the game for the ‘Warzone’ and its battle royale as the Pacific update is coming, with new content like maps, guns, and themes. On the other hand, ‘Vanguard’ brings its Season 1 for the game and battle pass, as well as 24-hour early access to the ‘Caldera’ map, which would then be open to all by December 9.
Activision's delay on Warzone and Vanguard remains unknown, but speculations by Engadget said that the company's disputes regarding its workplace harassment and ‘frat boy’ culture may be the reason behind this. The company remains silent on the issue and has only addressed the smaller elephant in the room which is the games.
Activision Blizzard has recently been the center of issues and attention as the company faces a lot. There are many issues that Activision has faced during these times, and it may be the cause of the delay in the company's releases.
The supposed arrival of the game by next week has been ployed, but that does not mean that it would fail to release to the public once it arrives. The delay only sees a maximum of six days from Activision and the company has already set a release date of the significant updates for the game titles from the company, focusing on its popular franchise.”
My thoughts: If you were waiting on the release, it is only delayed by about a week.
