Tell them you want a kingpin. That will fix it. =)
 
If they won't do that you could always sell the replacement card, and buy a kingpin, or a founders edition card. Both of which won't have issues.

USA, Michigan. I was a little concerned considering this second RMA card had dents in the radiator and some kind of black paint over the scuffs on the aluminum. It worked for 5 mins in total war warhammer 2 then I decided to record myself launching world of warships and it died.

I should have just kept my 1080ti and skipped 30xx

Holy **** dude. That's unacceptable. I'm about to RMA my 3090 Kingpin for pump issues and a weird flicker. I had issues with the 1080 FTWs back at launch for those too. I love the EVGA warranty but I am in doubt that I will ever buy another product from them again.

It's not just EVGA, all manufacturers are having issues.  QC on everything has took a **** and I'm afraid it's going to be this way for awhile...

Most of the other graphics card manufacturers making RTX 3000 series cards don't have the same type of issues and frequency of issues that EVGA is having.  I went through three RMAs for my 3090 FTW3 Ultra before getting a full refund from EVGA.  The cards would do the black screen and 100% fan speed thin with any DX11 game.  Popping in a MSI RTX 3090 fixed the issue. The issue is design flaws or shortcuts in the original 3090 FTW3 board design.  Other posts here and elsewhere go into much more details.  The FTW3 isn't a full custom board this time around.  The FTW3 is basically a reference board with a few power stages and another power connector added.  That caused some of the issues with the first revision of the card. 
 
As a side note, in the same system I scored a top 3 port royal score with SLI/NVLink kingpin cards(Luumi ran his kingpins in SLI/NVLinkwith LN2, so I got bumped to 4th place), so its not a power supply issue or an issue with any other hardware in my system.  
 
I had to RMA both of Kingpin cards so far.  The first Kingpin Hybrid arrived with a dead fan and dying pump.  The Hydro Copper had a leaking water block that couldn't be fixed.  Apparently if you use an chilled water on the EVGA water block for an overclocking focused card, the block materials shrink and it leaks.  The leak got bad when the water temperature dropped below 10C.  In addition to that, one of my blocks had an over tightened screw from the factory, so the hole was damaged and the screw couldn't be tightened enough to stop the leak.  
 
I feel that EVGA missed the mark when it comes to the RTX 3000 series cards, but hopefully the RTX 4000 series cards will be an improvement and up to their usual standards.  EVGA customer service has been great so far.

I had three RMAs with my original RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra cards.  In most DX11 games, the cards would do the black screen and 100% fan speed thing.  To diagnose the issue, I bought a MSI RTX 3090 and all the problems went away.  Even when I flashed the 3090 FTW3 Ultra BIOS or the Kingpin 1,000 watt XOC BIOS on the MSI card I couldn't repeat the issues that I had with the EVGA cards.  After the three RMAs on the same model card, I got a full refund from EVGA.
 
As I mentioned above, its not my power supply or any other hardware in my system.  In the same system, I scored a top 3(at the time) Port Royal benchmark score.  Its still the highest official score without using subzero cooling.
