My Tracking Number from a order through EVGA isnt working?

I ordered the brackets for LGA 1700 water cooler, i got a email yesterday saying my order was shipped but when i open the tracking it just says 
 
Label CreatedShipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet.
United States
 
Does that mean UPS hasnt gone to evga yet to pick it up?

    Yes, and once they pick it up it can take a while to update. Once UPS has the package, it will start updating.

    oh okay thank you! i just figured they would have picked it up yesterday when i got the notification at 12pm EST

    All it means is that they printed a label and put it in the outbound pile to be picked up. After it gets scanned as in transit it will update. The tracking number itself is working but if you don't see an update in a business day you could contact EVGA to see why it wasn't handed off.

    right makes sense, but i got the email at 1PM est yesterday so it should have been picked up by now, you would think il give them a call when they open today.

    Sometimes UPS can be slow on updating things. I have set it up for a text when the package status updated and all the sudden got four texts that it was picked up, at a facility, in transit all delivered at the same time.
