    I may be skipping this motherboard too if I get the notification.  EVGA really missed the mark with the lack of USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 connectors on the board compared to most mid range and higher end x570 boards.

    What do you mean? Rear I/O? Because internal there's one gen 3.1 type A front header, two USB 2.0 headers and 1 type C (3.2 gen2) header for front panel. I know some cases come with two 3.1 Type A header connectors, but almost no Mobo comes with 2. So that's not an expected feature, the rest are the standard that almost every board comes with. Even Asus Dark Hero which would directly compete with this one has the same amount of internal headers.

    Got my notify, passing on it since the I/O is worse than my current motherboard and I use some of the ports my current board has that this one doesn't. I really wanted to like this board, but I'm disappointed in the price for the feature set.

    You're right. I thought is was a 3.2 gen 2 header. Well, when I get mine I'll check what I can or can't use. I really don't care if it's 5GBps or 10. But to not be able to use my front Type C at all would be an issue since I transfer a lot of videos and stuff from and to my phone with it. Guess I can always return it if it doesn't fulfill my needs.

    The lack of USB connectors is a major oversight and I'm not willing to either spend money on an add in USB card to get proper front panel connectors on a $500 motherboard or give up my some of my front panel connectors including USB 3.2 Gen2.  Also I don't know if I can even use an add in card to get more front panel connectors with dual kingpins.  There probably isn't enough clearance for that last slot.
     
    Maybe EVGA will get it right with their next generation AMD motherboards.  The X570 dark can't be used with any water cooled 3090 card that has back a side water block without extensive modifications to the board and heatsinks.  The X570 FTW gives up features/connectivity that $200-$300 motherboards have.

    Sadly I'm also a bit disappointed with the motherboard. But it's still an overclocking board and maybe that's why the feature set was less of a priority. But for me as a user the price to performance ratio is really not there.

    The X570 Dark is the overclocking board.  THis one is more of the Equivalent of the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero with fewer features for a higher price.

    How has everyone's installs gone?  Mine went smoothly other then me being a noob and not getting all the paste off the processor and then realizing there was a huge gob on side of the processor that decided to get all over the pins and socket, ****.
     
    Also, looking past the missing USB 3.1 Gen 2 header, its a gorgeous motherboard with an awesome bios, coming from an MSI bios this is like going from Win 3.1 to Win 10, lol.  I actually saw a slight benchmark increase for the CPU, could also been to anything that changed during the swap, but was like 800 pts in 3D mark on the CPU.
