Okay, the power and HD activity LEDs on my case are super-bright. And the rig is in line of sight of my bedroom area. I'd been looking for a way to mask the light without blacking out or disconnecting the LEDs. Found a decent solution with an automotive Start button cover. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095GV3MVC It's not "perfect. But it works well enough!
Ryzen 5950X, Alphacool Eisbaer 420mm, ASROCK Taichi Razer, NVIDIA 3070 Ti FE, 3x Samsung 980 Pro 1TB, 64GB Trident Neo Z DDR4000, Seasonic Focus GX-1000, Total Noctua Fan Swap (8x Redux NF-P14S, 2x Chromax A20), 4x10TB WD Gold in Synology 920+, Thermaltake Core X9

Well it's an interesting addition. Cheap and effective.

A better solution charlesborner I'd been looking for a way to mask the light without blacking out or disconnecting the LEDs.
I would use a resistor to dim a very bright LED.

I have a external hdd in the bedroom hooked to the tv and it has a super bright led. So i was just going to turn it around and not worry about it, but theres a mirror there so i ended up putting a small square of white double sided tape over the led, which worked perfect. Still have the led but its way dimmer and the tape disperses all the light some making it look like a wide button.

Hey, whatever works for ya. I wasnt trying to be clever, just wanted the annoying led gone and ended up with a bonus. Sometimes you get lucky and get those happy accidents. edit; heres the stuff i used, https://www.amazon.com/Tatuo-Double-Sided-Mounting-Adhesive/dp/B07JMC5R5V/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=double+sided+tape+for+mounting+window+glass&qid=1636711148&sr=8-5 ,this is the same stuff, but mine is white foam tape with a blue plastic backer you peel off....same size though. The roll i have is from 25 years ago when i used to build Casement Bay/Bow windows in a window factory and we used it to mount and seal the glass in the sashes. My roll is not as sticky anymore since its been sitting around so long.

It's not that bad really since you get light when you need it but can hide it when you don't. Also the Captain America shield isn't bad looking.
