You do not have enough posts to post links yet. Are you using HDMI or DP? If you have another HDMI cable (most TVs use this now) try swapping out cables.

Is your DP cable certified? Cheap DP cables can cause this issue with time.

This is a known issue, and there is no official solution. It appears to be a product design issue.
The card turns off and the fans go to 100% when the video card VRM is overloaded.
An unofficial workaround is to decrease the power limit of the card, undervolt the core, and/or limit the game's frames per second. It's not a great solution to limit the performance of a product which you paid a lot of money for, but the alternative is not a great solution either. The alternative is to replace the video card via warranty, pay for the shipping and duty/taxes, and do that over and over again until you either find a card which doesn't do it often, or do it enough times that EVGA approves a refund without a restocking fee (but still eat any shipping and duty/taxes incurred in the process), or just sell it on the used market and try a different brand/model. The 3090 FTW3s suffer from this issue a lot, because they use the NVIDIA "reference design" and have a high power limit. Either a reference design with a lower power limit, or a non-reference design (beefed up VRM) with a high power limit should do it less often.

Your symptoms point to a defective video card. It should not do that in any scenario. Lowering the power limit is not an acceptable solution.
Register it to your EVGA account if you haven't already and submit a warranty claim on it.

I agree, but since it is a design issue, what is the alternative? I think I thoroughly covered the options available. Warranty replacing the card over and over again is not an acceptable solution either.

Hello,

In this situation, we recommend registering the product and starting an RMA request. For your region, please reach out to our Taiwan Support team, by emailing [link=mailto:SupportTW@evga.com,]SupportTW@evga.com,[/link] stating the symptoms and your troubleshooting, to get that process started.
