Call EVGA and they will email you the latest driver for your card and model with instructions.  I'm not really sure how to translate the numbers into the BIOS's EVGA distributes so the only way to know if it's up to date is to install what EVGA gives you when you call them.

    Hello RichterB,

Welcome to our forums. Please keep in mind that video card bios are not the same as a motherboard's bios. The bios for a video card is rarely updated and can different from one card to another even if it is the same exact model. Various changes in production such as different memory or power management component changes can warrant a different bios. If you are having any issues with your product please contact us at Support@evga.com or SupportEU@evga.com with a description of the issues you are having. If you are having issues depending on what they are specifically a bios update may not fix your issue. It is also not recommended to flash a bios for the sake of flashing the bios if you are not having any issues as it can potentially brick your card.
Also if there is an actual "General" bios update it is usually easily available and posted on the respective forum.

    Regards,

Thanks. I'm not having issues. I just ask to know if the actual Bios can have problems, and because I previously had an Asus ROG vga, that has a very easily Bios update tool, and they used it as a sort of driver.

Yea, it would be nice if there was a way to check. Instead, you just have to install Precision X1 and load it up hoping an automatic update finds one. I'd like to be able to see the current bios and force a check for updates, especially from a program that EVGA makes. I know there are ways to check what BIOS version you have, but it's a PITA to find out the most current BIOS. Please fix this EVGA.

Why are you hoping that it finds an update? What are you hoping is changed? Are you experiencing an issue that you hope is fixed in an update?
If it doesn't find an update, there is no update.

What's there to fix? If Precision doesn't tell you that there's a new version, you have the most current one.

Not always true. Plenty of software has auto update and it doesn't work properly. Is it really to much to ask for Precision to show the current version and force check an update? Really?

The software checks for updates automatically.  If you don't trust the software, why would you trust a 'force check for update button' in that software to work either?

If you don't trust the software, contact EVGA and ask them directly.

Which is the other point I made you seem to be ignoring. You can find drivers here:

    https://www.evga.com/support/download/

Why is there no option like that for BIOS versions? Stop asking like what I am asking for is a hassle. Find another thread to nit pick.

Why is there no option like that for BIOS versions?

Because VBIOS versions for video cards can be serial number specific depending on which memory or voltage controller was installed on the factory line that day. The filter can be very granular, and you can open up the possibility of a lot of failed updates and video card issues for otherwise little benefit.

You still haven't answered about what you hope will be updated. Are you having a problem that you hope a VBIOS update will fix?
