Finally got around to testing my board, seems the X570 Dark has no issues with running super tight settings:

Memory overclocking ability, at least with the settings I've tried so far, is better than any 4-dimm board and the B550 Unify-X, and seems to be about on par with the Asus 2-dimmers.

What bioses are y'all's boards shipping with?

I need to recuperate after buying this and a t2 1600w 🤣 🤣

It's taking so long to get this build put together now the Alder Lakes are coming out with DDR5!  Tonight was the last day to initiate a return for my 5950x.  Since I'm locked in with the 30 series RTX, the only advantage to waiting would be the DDR5.  Am I better off just holding out with what I've got knowing this build is based upon a proven generation of hardware?  I chose 5950x for games + productivity/art/creative/3D etc.  Not sure switching gears now is worth whatever Alder Lake plus DDR5 offers given the hassle of returns, etc.  Already have water blocks, memory, GPU, CPU.  Mostly waiting on this mobo.

My notify queue date/time was 9/21/2021 9:55:45 AM PT
 
I received my notification at 1:52 PM eastern time(10:52 AM Pacific).  I'm not purchasing it.  After looking at the board further, it can't easily be used with any 3090 that has active backside RAM cooling.  I'd need to cut apart one of the VRM heatsinks closest to the top PCIEx16 slot to get the backside cooling to work.  
 
Also the Asus Crosshair VIII Dark hero seems to be the most prevalent motherboard in the various benchmarks of the HWBOT top 5 scores for the 5950X.

That sucks. Did you try another another way to pay? Hope you get it worked out.
