Broken radiator fan on FTW3 Kit= warranty void?

I accidentally broke 2 blades of one of the radiator fan from my FTW3 kit(which I’m not even using on the radiator itself).
I proceeded to ask EVGA's OFFICIAL/authorized distributor in Indonesia(PT. Total Teknologi Indonesia) if I can get a replacement fan they simply said that they do not carry such parts and the warranty for the ENTIRE KIT is voided.
 
Their reasoning was the fan is part of a box and user induced damage on one PART of the box(ie. kit) will deem the warranty void for the entire kit, which I found absolutely ridiculous.
 
Is this also EVGA's official regulation or are they just illegally voiding warranty?

    Physical damage to any part of the product voids the warranty. That is written in the terms of the warranty.

    Makes no sense to void the warranty to the AIO unit if damage is only to the fan. Someone lost their fan and iirc EVGA can send/sell a replacement?


    Voiding warranty to the AIO unit because a SINGLE fan broke is akin to voiding a car’s warranty because one of the tire blew

    Could you reach out to EVGA Taiwan and ask them, rather than going through a distributor. The distributor is not EVGA, so EVGA may be able to send you a replacement fan, but you are in a different region and I am not sure how things works in your area. Do reach out to EVGA, instead of the distributor though.

    Your not using the stock hybrid fans on the radiator anyways ...... & the warranty is 12 months, I'd not loose any sleep over it
     
    And to answer your other question .... (I've asked for another EVGA member) .. NO, EVGA does Not sell the fans separately
