Hi,

I have added the Nu Audio Pro 7.1 to a new PC build. The PC is connected to my amp with left and right speakers. I've recently added a Sony Bravia A90J panel to the mix and am wanting to use the TV as a centre speaker, but have no idea how to achieve this with the Nu Audio Pro card. Can anyone please help?

The card has made an amazing difference to the sound quality, I'm just wanting to be able to use the TV as a third/centre speaker and can't see a way to achieve this.

Thank you.

The easiest way to do it is via physical means. Buy the adapters necessary to bridge the left and right channels to create a center channel. Just like you used to do with the subs in your trunk.
The card isn't designed to do it by other means.

Why couldn't you just use the center/sub connector on the surround card per the quick start guide?

    Go ahead, try.

There have been numerous topics about this. An EVGA employee recommended using adapters to achieve this. The center output only works with surround-encoded content. Per that EVGA employee, the center channel is not designed to be used in a 2.1 configuration with stereo content.

The title says "stereo + center". AKA 2.1
