Ok, thats a ballpark on what to expect then.

Is it something you can claim back?

Ended up sending my card on Saturday. It was received earlier today, only took them 2 hours of processing and they already shipped me the replacement card.
Just a matter of one more day.

Nice one, glad you got your card.
Are you UK based, and any issues with customs if so?

4~8 weeks, I was over 7 weeks, so nearly 2 months. Then once you get the letter it says you'll be refunded within 30 days, so worst case scenario will likely be 3 months to get money back in your hands lol.

I'm telling EVGA so I hope they can sort their digital submissions out. Border Force is saying it is their error that the documents they're sending electronically are not matching what is on the parcel, and I believe them.

You won't get the handling charge back, so overall cost for me for an RMA was £26.99 to send, £12 handling charge and a few £ to send my documents/BOR286 form recorded delivery to Border Force.

When my step up is triggered next year (or whenever) I hope the process is fixed, otherwise it'll be another £12 handling charge and few £ to send documents on top of the £26.99 to UPS to send my 2080Ti off for a 3080 lol.

Finally got my card, it only took 378 days of waiting and an additional 206 euro for the price difference and shipping.
The queue has been moving in a steady manner in these last few weeks, hopefully the rest of you will all get your cards fast!

Grats! :D Again those "additional x EUR" mentions make me twitch. So it went from 192.08 to 206 EUR? Or was it on top of that?

Something else must have happened meanwhile. I keep having quick glances at /r/EVGA and /r/TEAMEVGA to see if there are EU StepUp mentions.

[EU] Just received my Step-Up notification #2 (original request submitted Sep 29, 2020)
=> reddit .com/r/EVGA/comments/q6os5j/eu_just_received_my_stepup_notification_2

Somebody else: Posted yesterday that my Step-Up was ready to go. Since then, I've paid for it, purchased shipping, packed up the card, and before leaving for the post office I saw this email. Already contacted support and they're going to get back to me. Anyone else get anything similar?
=> reddit .com//r/EVGA/comments/q77tn1/posted_yesterday_that_my_stepup_was_ready_to_go

Sorry, still cannot post links. 🙄

I really wish the process showed some more transparency. Assign me a queue number, show the queue status and let me know there are 2303153 people ahead of me.
It still won't show me how long it will actually take but I can see how things have moved or not without all that much guesswork.

It went up a bit because I counted the fact that I had to ship previous GPU to them. Which cost me €7.5 plus €6 for the insurance, for a total of €13.5.
Yeah, the lack of information was anxiety inducing at times lol. I kept worrying that I might get skipped, or if it would get cancelled at some point. Didn't help that the European queue was so slow compared to the US one.

I hope so - I am from Germany aswell. Registered in July 2021 - I bought a 3070 Ti at equippr when they were available for 925 EUR. I will have to pay about 7 EUR difference for the 3080. Guess it's worth the waiting. Atleast I already have quite a good card.

I hope not, but most likely your step up cost will be more than 7€, since EVGA is using MSRP of the card you're trading when you get to the end of the queue.

You might want to check this page https://eu.evga.com/produ...mp;chipset=RTX+3070+Ti
So you can see what is the "real price" of your card and what you will most likely have to pay when it's your turn. Be aware that prices are showing Exc VAT on EVGA shop.

Yeah, I know. But that’s what EVGA is showing me: about 7€ difference between my card and the 3080 I choose.

Speaking of MSRPs, has anybody seen the old MSRP list of the 2070 series by any chance?
Sadly those vanish from the EVGA websites when products aren't available anymore.
I did get the 2070 Super XC Ultra+ to step up from, paid 587.62 EUR (513.29 EUR before VAT) and wonder how far off my calculation is.
Well it's now off anyway because EVGA hasn't updated it in the ~year of queue time.

It looks like the movement's slowed down again. Bummer. :/

I hope for you guys you will be counted in for the next dispatch. : )

I entered step up on October 2nd so I guess it will take quite some time before it is my turn.

I'm running a 2080 Super, not a bad card at all, but since July I changed my main screen for an Odyssey G7 (1440p 240hz) so the 3080 will be a good fit for this setup.

Just dropping by to say hi! Checking how fast the EU queue is going these days.

I registered in this Step-Up September 2020 last year with a 2070 and got my 3080 FHR in July 2021, a good 10 months. Now I bought a 3060 for my daughter's rig and registered it for a 3090 lol. I wonder how long will this take this time around. I don't see a 3090 EU Step-Up thread.

Wasn't there a thread as well or have US and EU just been posting in the same 3090 one? AFAIK it moved considerably faster than our 3080 process though. Best of luck :D

Hmm it's roughly been three weeks since the latest 3080 update? About time things got moving again.

Not really. I've marked Nezzlorth down as Step2 and he regged on the 30th of September.

Yes, it's all relative, 3 people in front of me feels like a thousand with the speed they're going!

And then I get to look forward to the customs game (both ways)!

I signed up with a 2070 Super on 20.10.2020.
When people were posting they're getting their step 2 after a year I was getting my hopes up, but yeah guess it's going to be a while.

At least I'm from Germany so customs wise that's good news.

And my StepUp process has a cake day today.

I can't even check things. My EVGA -> My Products -> View Details.
The page refreshes but that's it. The product page, doesn't matter which one I click in there, doesn't load.

Remember way back when that one email got you so excited, and then it turned out to be a move to the LHR lane? 😂

TEAMEVGADE
die UVPs der Karten stehen weiterhin auf der Seite. Beim StepUp legen wir in Europa jedoch deinen tatsächlichen Kaufpreis zugrunde.

Since EVGA DE showed life signs on Twitter I had to ask about MSRPs. Suppose this is to be taken with a grain of salt. They claimed the MSRPs (UVP in German) were still on the site.
I only see one for a 2060 there, none of the other 2000 series cards. However, "For StepUp in Europe we base it on the actual purchase price.'
Would be interesting to see if this remains true for somebody that managed to get an overpriced 2070 or alike late in the game and started the StepUp process with that.
