Is it me or does the OSD not show up when playing games using Prec X1 (with an RTX 2080 XC)?

On-Screen Display doesn't support OpenGL games..On-Screen Display still might not work in some games, which has been an issue with Precision XOC too.

You have to turn on the OSD button, then open HWM (HardWare Monitor) and turn on OSD for the items shown in HWM..You can choose what items are shown/not shown in HWM by clicking the number 1 dropdown at the top of the HWM an checking/unchecking items..Then close and open PX1 again so that the changes stick..It's important to close PX1 after making/applying any changes so that the changes stick because otherwise some changes won't stick.

Do not add games to the PrecisionX Server list (System Tray icon)..Some people mistakenly think that adding games to the PrecisionX Server list enables OSD for the game, when just the opposite is true..The PrecisionX Server list excludes OSD for the games/apps in the list..Whenever OSD is on/active, the PrecisionX Server will be shown in the Sytem Tray.

When PX1 is set to 'Start minimized', the PrecisionX Server might not activate unless you click the PX1 icon in the System Tray to bring PX1 up on the Desktop and then Minimize it again..When PrecisionX Server is shown in the System Tray, OSD is active.

PX1 is buggy and still a work in progress, but I hope that helps some.

EVGA's OSD is by far the worst. Rarely shows up in my games. Afterburner is by far superior to EVGA. I haven't once had a game afterburner didn't work. Get it right.

The only way I found to fix this issue is go to Settings > Add Remove programs > Scroll down to EVGA X1 and uninstall.

Head to msi Afterburner and download that. Setup Afterburner/Riva Tuner and it works every time.

Trust me. I wish I could use this software. I love using the software intended for the hardware but it just doesn't work. Updates come out all the time and not one addresses the common issue EVERY user encounters.

EVGA doesn't care about their OSD capabilities. EVGA hasn't addressed this issue since the first XOC Software that couldn't do it either...

This is coming from an EVGA Fanatic, but they don't know how to make an OSD work properly...

Fraps has been doing it for over 22 years... Don't understand why EVGA can't. It's old and outdated technology.

Hah! Yeah.... I'm assuming still no fix... I was told by the Twitter Guy who would give updates on how to fix issues... He told me that a new X1 was being developed... Not sure if that's true...

Still not sure why this isn't resolved..... Why even make X1? Just recommend Afterburner. Guess what? It's 100x better.... works every day... OSD works every time... I guess I'll continue to support MSI... still waiting for Precision X2? lol
