What is the part number you have and the part number you want to switch to?

There are a couple 700B power supplies, and one of them is semi-modular.

The 700 BQ has a part number of 110-BQ-0700-V1 and is semi modular.

The 700 BR has a part number of 100-BR-0700-K1 and is Not semi modular.

When you switch to the 1000G5, remove all of the cables attached to the 700B, and use the new cables that come with the 1000G5. Do not re-use the cables from the old power supply, just to be safe.
