-hey guys, trying to find information on thermal pads for this, are the memory pads really 2.25mm? all i can find on forum is 3070 ti xc3 info and i'm not sure they are the same and i dont trust redit lol

i did not ask but i think vrm is 1.5mm(its so thin you should not be able to rip or destroy it but if your bored replace it. and the choke?(part with putty on it) i think is 1mm. when i'm not lazy i'l actually get the feeler gauge out and measure the whole card and report back, in theory you could use thinner thermal pads as long as you dont let them dry out cause they shrink, i think manufacture accounts for shrinkage but also not 100% sure.
found last night the stock pads are 3-4 wpmk? can anyone confirm this?
putting pads on the coils would also reduce coil whine slightly but might negatively effect thermals but i doubt it would be noticeable -i have done this with power supplies in the past and an old pentium p4pex motherboard-it had a real bad coil and now its silent, my card is quiet for now but i seen some people complain about it.

You can order it directly from our site. The shipping to Canada should be about $12.
Alternately, we do intend to send some to Amazon.ca, but it will take a few weeks to show as available there. If you are not in a rush, this would be the most affordable option for you.

According to an EVGA representative, it costs 15 USD for stock pads. For the dimensions they are as follows:
65 mm x 4.5 mm x 2.25 mm
42 mm x 14 mm x 2.25 mm
40 mm x 14 mm x 2.25 mm
27 mm x 14 mm x 2.25 mm
They are nearly identical to the dimensions specified by staypuft. I will assume that all other dimensions are good as well. Better to be conservative in the dimensionality with the exception to the thickness.

What is the Stuff I Marked in this Picture and could you replace it with a Thermalpad ?
dried up completely after not much use for 8 months, like the thermal paste on the stone chip, I want to warn you to put a 1mm gasket, it's very thick, put 0.5mm just right! sorry for my bad english

I just talked to EVGA on the phone and they are fine with it if you replace the Putty with a Thermal Pad.
0,5mm
I think they preferred paste because of the ease of application, a thin pad is difficult to put on properly
