Hello,

I recently did a fresh installation of Windows 10 for my system, and after I installed the latest driver for the NU Audio Pro, I can no longer change the color of the LED. For example, if I change the LED mode to Static, the color circle stays with white color and becomes "non-clickable". I did experience this issue before, but somehow, I got it fixed after reinstalling the Windows. I have tried these steps but still couldn't get the issue fixed:

- Reinstalling the drivers (1.0.3 version).
- Removing/disconnecting the card from PCI slot (remove and re-insert the SATA power cable as well). Reinstalling the card but still unable to change the LED color.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

Yes, I am encountering this issue too. The modal dialog to change the color is not popping up.

I see that too. It used to work on this build, so I'm betting a Windows update did something.
I submitted a support ticket here. It might be a good idea to do the same.

Same issue installing on a fresh .iso build of Win11 Pro, 22000.194. I've got a ticket in.

Is there a way to change this via a registry entry?

Might be stuck with the current LED color for a while :)

Maybe. Verified the same issue is occurring with the older 1.0.2 release version as well.
I'd suggest submitting a support ticket.

P.S.

Since I am not sure when this issue will get resolved, you can change the LED colors in user.config xml file for your card located in your local app data folder.

Exit the app and it will load the RGB value from the file when you restart the app and go into the LED section

This issue still hasn't been addressed.  I just did a reinstall of windows 11 on my PC and this issue came up.  Contacting support resulted in a reinstalling of the card and the drivers.  The issue persists.

Hello,
same for me. Just white and i can`t click to change the led colours.

Windows 11 Pro, 22H2, newest build.

A clean install didn`t change anything.

Sorry for the long delay on this.  Looks like there's a compatibility issue between Windows and the application's color unit.  The team thinks it might be a couple weeks before they have a workaround for you guys.

Speaking of the RGB LED lights, are they able to be controlled by ASUS Armory Crate Aura Synch? It would be cool if the lights could be synched with the rest of the lights in my system.

Can the lights on the card be co trolled by any motherboard’S RGB control software, not just ASUS?

I’m pretty sure the RGB controller for the card is built onto the card. I don’t think the motherboard would be able to control the lights without an adapter from the card to the motherboard, and I haven’t seen one of those advertised.

Could you give OpenRGB a try and see if maybe that would work?

The lights are controlled only via the NU Audio software, to the best of my knowledge. Armory Crate will not.

Hi Lee,
could your team already figure out what's causing this error and will there be an update/workaround soon?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the delay here, but our team couldn't reproduce the issue that people are reporting.  Still, they tried a few things to see if it might make a difference.  Please give this beta driver a shot to see if it helps:

Awesome! I'll have to wait to try it until late tonight. :(
Assuming this will also work for Win11?

That's weird. I have a NU Audio Pro and just did a clean Windows 11 install. Installed the software and was able to change my LEDs back to what I had them. Sucks some people are having issues. At least it doesn't look like everyone is affected by this.

Yup, performed a clean install of the beta diver. In the app, the LED section, the circle is changed to a square and I can change color.
Thanks to Lee and team for taking a (good) stab at it!
