So long story short, got my 3090 through Step Up last Thursday and the second fan is dead. Put in a service question and emailed support at Jacob's recommendation and haven't heard anything. Jacob said responses are usually same day but that didn't happen. Not trying to sound pushy or anything but my $2000 gpu is basically useless because it gets way too hot too fast and would like to get the RMA going asap.

Did you already register the GPU ?  If the answer is NO, then register is step 1

    Did you create a Ticket ? - step 2

TEST --> Try EVGA X1 or MSI afterburner & Force the fans to 100% as a test ?

Step Ups auto register so yes. I've put in a ticket, emailed support directly as recommended by Jacob on Twitter who said if it's not on the latest X1 version (it is) then it's going to need to be replaced, and have used X1 to force the fans and fan 2 doesn't spin. I've reflashed BIOS and Firmware and tried both switches on the card itself. Sadly the fan is dead and short of dismantling the card itself (I'm not comfortable doing that) I can't think of much else to try. The headers are seated and I have pushed those in just to make sure. I'm not even really upset it's faulty, these things happen with tech, but I just wanna get back to gaming. Especially with the ReBAR update today

Thank you so much for the response, and I've updated my question! I also apologize, I really hate being "that guy" and understand that COVID is making everything difficult. I just wanted to get a jump on things since the card still has that factory smell haha.

I am facing the exact same issue, they haven't been responding. They replied to the 1st message which was last week. I have a dead rtx 3080 ti, did everything they asked me to do in the first message and much more. Ever since they asked me to contact evga taiwan, they haven't replied to any of my messages.

According to our system a tech responded to you on 9/20 - did you not get this response?
