Yikes almost a year for the stepup.
If the 40 series come out and the msrp for the 30s goes down will that change what you owe in the stepup?

I don’t see why not… But I don’t expect them dropping much if the chip shortage is still around. Or just not being produced as much.

It is a federal holiday today in the US. Banks are closed. So payments might take until probably Tuesday to process.

An option to move to a card neither announced nor even close to a possible release (at least a year, if not more)… how could EVGA do that? And if that would ever happen, you would be willing to wait for, let's say March 2023 to get a step up card (since step up usually take 6 months to be processed, when there is no worldwide pandemic and electronics shortages)? I registered for step up on October 2nd and am still on step 1, and yes the wait can be quite upsetting sometime, but I am still glad the step up program does exist since I don't even have to check for cards availability.

My 10+ months of waiting is finally over!

i read on the RMA instructions you *must* send your card back in a box, they will automatically refuse if you send back a card in an envelope or soft pack.

i read on the RMA instructions you *must* send your card back in a box, they will automatically refuse if you send back a card in an envelope or soft pack.
I can't imagine the type of physical abuse the GPU would go through in a bubble mailer. If you can't find a box, just go to your local post office and grab a medium/large priority flat rate box (the thinner kind). Those are perfect for GPUs + whatever type of padding you choose to use.

I have that someone signed from UPS and that it was delivered from 10:18 a.m. this morning. Just want to make sure it made it to the correct place. Does the received/shipped out update usually occur at the same time?

How long did it take from when your mailing provider said it was delivered to when they said they received it?

I don't mind waiting quite a while myself, but I'm curious. At this point, just entering step 1 this past week, am I looking at well beyond 1 year? I don't really mind, I just picked up a 3070 which will serve me very well. Just figured hey why not try it?

So the line has moved through about a month of signups over the past 11 months? Is the working theory that there were a lot more people ready to sign up right away, and it'll eventually start moving a bit faster? I'm still glad for the opportunity to step up to a 3080 from the 2060 that I've got, but hoping the pace picks up at some point to be able to get the card upgrade within 1-1.5 years after initially signing up for the process.

When is the estimated delivery date for you?
Since I'm 3 day UPS ground from EVGA mine will arrive on Friday, 9/24/2021. Just in time for the weekend. From what I have read, tracking information shows up between 6-8pm PST. I got my UPS notification at 7 PST since I have UPS My Choice. The EVGA tracking email came the next morning.
