how is it even possible my 1070 ti ran this test with no raytracing or RT cores

    The only reason you believe you need RT cores in order to ray trace is because NVIDIA wanted you to believe that you need RT cores in order to ray trace.

    I'd not run this in a long time. Got a "Worlds Best" for my config
