I have been using Microsoft Edge for quite some time and I'v been happy with it.

Today my default browser is Opera GX. It's a browser dedicated to gamers. It also integrates with Corsair iCUE.

well...it's ugly...and I can't seem to delete unwanted search engines....it's fast ...it has the extensions I want...

Gotta play with it because there has to be a way to set 'home'..but so far I'm not seeing it.

Go to settings and then On Startup, choose the last option.

The classic Opera browser still exists, the GX variant is optimized for gamers mostly.

I think I've been using this browser for more than an year now and I am very happy with the choice.

    Would totally recomend.

My friend has been recommending Opera for a while now, I'd probably switch over if I could retain all my chrome data. Logins, site data, all that stuff. Not sure if you can or not though.

It asked me if I wanted to import things...so it looks like you can.

Ah nice, I guess I'll check it out.

Edit: so it's pretty nice honestly, everything seemed to import fine. But here's a pretty major deal breaker for me. THERE ARE NO TAB GROUPS. This is an incredibly important feature to me as a college student in 7 different classes, each needing their own tabs and books and whatnot. The workspaces feature feels clunky and isn't quite the same, it would pass well enough if there wasn't a maximum limit of 5 at a time, for some reason. When they do add this in, I'll likely make the full transition.
