i wish i could give up for two years i cant get by with my machine cause its running games at like 20 fps and i want to start running virtual machines to try pen testing and white hat hacking

You would if you were as disappointed as me lol. I hope EVGA do some improvement in terms of ordering and queue moving too slowly so all of us who just want 1 card can get it. This feels like an eternal wait. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Crappy time to buy a PC.

Everyone is suffering. I think no one ever thought something like this can happen too. Also it's not only PC market, this has literally affected all the are areas which use the computer chips and that's almost like everything around you.

Exactly. I was lucky enough to get a car last year when the prices were still down. But one of my friends just got a car 2 months ago. When he was looking for a car everywhere he went, the dealership asked for 10-15k markup price on new models, which is ridiculous amount, if you too also factor in the MSRP of the car. 
And even after that much of markup price the lead time for the car was around 6 months, so basically in order to get a new car you have to pay extra plus wait for a fair amount of time lol.
 
In the end after so much disappointed he settled on buying a second hand car which was in really good condition and best offer he could find during this pandemic. 

Well when you've waiting for so long what's waiting a little more haha. It's a small price to pay during these times. Also we don't know for sure when this shortage will end and when the production will be back to Pace. My best guess probably not until Q3 of 2023, I might be wrong.
So if you are willing to wait that long, it's not a guarantee it'll end even then. So better to just keep trying here. That's the least we could do

I was hearing the same. Maybe when crypto mining switches from graphic cards to wherever it's going to hopefully it will fix the issue or most of it

 
Nvidia had already announced a series of graphics cards solely targeted for the miners. I think it's called Nvidia CMP HX, but it's not gonna be available soon, so we'll have to go through the struggle of competing with miners and scalpers no matter what, at least for a while until the crpto cards are released. 
 
Also TMSC has planned to build a production plant in Arizona, and I think that will be functional around 2023/24, that why I said we should see some normalcy in production around that time. But you never know what can happen, can't predict anything haha. We can just hope for the best

That is what i hear and it sucks cause my car just got totaled by someone who ran a red light so now on top of need a GPU for a new computer i need to get a new car

Hopefully the other car driver stopped and was insured so the new car won’t be that costly.
