Hi all.

Having a strange one.... My system over the past couple of days randomly turns off with the C code error.

Are you overclocking? When does it happen, what are you running? My 10980xe with the 3080ti would trip ocp when trying a healthy overclock. Shutdown with a post of C, holding the power button or powering off the psu reset it. My overclock brought the 12v too close to the 83 amp limit on a G6 1000w. Also check event viewer for a critical error kernel-power event 41

we have pretty much the same parts. When everything is in the standard setting, there is no c code problem, but if I try to overclock even 1 mhz, the system shuts down. I am using psu 1600 p2 what is it?

I am struggling with similar issues. I am getting random re-boots but no c error. event viewer is worthless, keep getting event 41 with no other causes. It's either ram or my cpu. I'm on my 3rd mobo rma. Any oc over 4.5GHz and 1.25v can't pass occt tests, the board doesn't report power like others. I pulled 62 watts before it tripped, killawatt reported 1100w. It's a pain trying to find ram that works, QVL is outdated and most of the ram on it is EOL. Kinda sol

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't notice people had posted.

Yeah it's overclocked to 4.8ghz but has been since owning it. After that week it sorted itself out and the error ode never came back.

But over the past couple of weeks the PSU had been making some strange sounds so thought I had better replace it. The system had a upgrade with a new EVGA G5 1000w and a 3080ti Fe.
