I have a 2080ti FTW3 that was bought as the air cooled version, converted to the Hydrocopper, and now I am wanting to go back to air cooled to sell to a friend.  My question is about the thermal putty they use on the inductors.  When installing the Hydrocopper block the putty is removed and the block uses a thermal pad.  When swapping back to the air cooler, do I need to find thermal putty or can I use a thermal pad.  If I can use a thermal pad, does anyone know what thickness I would need?

Here is a picture of the putty I am talking about for reference (Credit: Gamers Nexus)...
