When i work all day on my pc i experience black screens artifacts & occasional system hangs.
I know it's Gpu related since the rest of my pc is pretty new. i7 10700k & auros master z590 with 32gb crucial all been stress tested
these crashes occur only when i'm gaming long periods of time. if i give my pc a rest in the middle of the day and come back to play at night it survives these gaming session.
further more i'm playing a very undemanding game which is dota 2, although at 4k but still my old system run it no sweat. i fell like the card is in the end of his days and sooner or later i won't be able to play at all. quality of life as a gamer is really bad this way. I wanted to get 3080ti from evga but they are impossible to get even at inflated cost.
i fear that after the 3090 super the 4000 series will be the same issues with these prices and we might get back to normal only after those new fabs will start working so more like 2023.
shelling out scalpers money is just insanity & i don't see things getting better infact they are getting worse. Is there any way to revive my card to make it last for the long haul?

it's not about night or day more about how much i use my computer
if i use it from afternoon till night it will make troubles at night
i've changed thermal paste to nt-h2 and gelid thermal pads so warming up isn't the issue
all the system is with noctua fans and full tower no real heating issue.
i had these artifacts (purple lines with white square) since i bought the card it gets worst with time but it dosen't effect gaming
    happens occasionaly and randomly
the crashing and black screen can happen only after couple of hrs of gaming. i need to shut down the computer for 2-3 to continue playing
if i just return to surfing youtube etc.. and return to gaming it won't sort it out.

Do you have another system you can test the card in?

Then you could take the card to a local pc shop to have it tested. Other things you could do would be to underclock the card to max negative clocks on both the core & memory to see if that will help with your issue. You could also try another psu to see if it will help with your issue.

TBH i'm scared to do anything to overstress this card
i don't think benching or torture test will do good at this point , might just speed up to process of a total failure.

i should be so lucky that it lasted this long and still kinda works thanks to EVGA build quality.
what's the life expectancy of such cards? should i be worried? is it a slow decay?

Hard to say the life expectancy as it depends on how it’s been used. No as you can always buy another gpu.

Well in this current market not so much :(
Getting equivelant card will be at outrages costs
The card was used when bought to finish witcher 3 when it came out
Since then i did not game on it only netflix youtube etc... I came back to gaming 6 months ago played borderlands 3 and dota since. Had occasional crashes but since i’m turning off my pc for couple
Of hrs a day everything is working ok 95% it may be heat related but theres nothing more i can do about it.
Evga cards are no common in my country and i won’t waste my time buying other brands

Yeah, you may have a hard time getting a newer 3000 series card, but if your card does everything you need then you could just buy another one off eBay.
