Just stick with Rivatuner.

You only need afterburner if you want to monitor certain aspects of your gpu like clock speeds, temps, vram usage, etc. But you could also replace afterburner with Hwinfo which also works with Rivatuner.

I can't answer that one for you, but you can get the latest Stable and Beta versions here and find out.
 
If a no-go, you could always run Precision X1 and Afterburner (along with RTSS) together at the same time..Use Afterburner (along with RTSS) strictly for OSD and use Precision X1 strictly for card/fan control..Should work fine, does for me.
 
OSD items in HWInfo should work fine too, does for me.
 
Only FPS will show when using the Standalone RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server).
