I just saw that the 1000w gt model was released via the announcement at techpowerup. I am wondering which OEM is building these? I am looking for several 1000w gold units for upcoming builds and the price point is very competitive with the seasonic focus gx 1000w units i had initially been considering. I prefer EVGA due to your excellent CS and warranty.

Also could you confirm that the 1300 G2 are still being manufactured by superflower or has the OEM been changed to CWT or HEC (like the g3 series). Ive heard conflicting opinions. Or are the remaining units old stock originally built by superflower?
The reason im asking is i buy alot of high end, high power units for client builds and the OEM is a major factor in my purchasing decisions.

If the "GT" in the name carries any family meaning I would hazard a guess it's a HEC based unit like the other PSUs in the "GT" range. HEC is a decent OEM, but I prefer the Superflower OEM models like the G3 range. Though I can't say for sure, since there aren't any reviews out yet on this model.

only thing I could find, was some guesses on Anandtech. https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/evga-releases-yet-another-power-supply-the-ga-series-updated-with-new-gt-series.2573593/

"this has no confirmation from EVGA, but that looks a suspicious lot like a HEC TPK, most famously used in the Cougar GX-F
    Thanks Mr. Crapt. :)

I knew when he left to work at Corsair that Jonnyguru.com was on borrowed time. While OklahomaWolf hung around for a little while after Jonny's departure I guess the site just fell by the wayside. Unfortunate, we just don't have any sites like that anymore.

G2 and G3 have always been built by Superflower.  That hasn't changed.
