My suggestion is to limit all of the 2000 & 1600 series to ONE per household until you can at least maintain some stock.  90% of us don't need more than one & just want a card to game.  This is needed to get more cards in the hands of gamers versus the bots & scalpers.

Right now there is a queue system that limits requests to 1.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I apologize for posting this.  Should have made the suggestion directly to EVGA.  Meant no offense.

EVGA cannot produce any more product than what Nvidia provides. They do not manufacture the die, the memory, just about every component is outsourced and made elsewhere.
They are basically a design house.

I am more curious why this suggestion is coming nearly a year after the 2000 series cards were replaced with the 3000 series cards.

I get that the 3000 series is supposed to replace the previous gen, but it has not happened bc it is not available at MSRP.  The RTX 3060 released in Feb at a 330 USD MSRP.  Sure you can buy one if you have 1000+ USD that you don't want anymore.  But that is equal to "not available" for most people.  Same story for the RTX 3060 Ti.  Even at MSRP these cards are nothing close to entry level offerings.  A lot of normal people just want a 200 USD GTX 1660s to game at 1080p.  But even those are ridiculous at 500+ USD.

And I get that some of the folks who are buying the higher end stuff like the 3080 & 3090 don't care as much about the price.

Why now?  I am running a six year old rig & have put off building my next one bc of all the pandemic stuff, chip shortages, etc.  I would buy a 3060 Ti today for $500 or a 3060 for $400, but that isn't going to happen.  So, my backup plan was to get a 1660s or 2060 to move forward with a build & game on it while I wait on the 3000 series to come back down to earth.  I did not realize how tough it was for the average person to find anything at MSRP until I started searching in earnest over a month ago.

The other thing I'll say is that I like EVGA products & very much want to stay with them.  So, I'm willing to wait a bit longer.

Needless to say that my 1st choice by far is a RTX 3060 Ti.  But, plan B has a much better chance for success at this point.  So, I will buy the first one available on the B list. . .1660s, 1660 Ti, 2060.  If the bots & scalpers don't get them all ahead of me.

OK here is an update.  I just bought the EVGA RTX 3060 Ti FTW3 LHR in a bundle with a PSU (EVGA SN 650 G5) that I needed anyway.  Yes, I got hosed for about $110 over MSRP, but I can live with that.  I will update this when I actually get it.  I'm already super excited.  Now I'm off to Amazon to buy the rest of my specs.

Yeah, it has not been a good time to buy a GPU for a long while now.

EVGA should make a queue system for their products and limit them to 1 per household. Oh wait, they did! There's no reason to bump this thread week after week with "I agree" statements. It's already implemented. It was already implemented when this thread was created.
