I have a 490 ftw with 32 gigs of dominator ram at 3600. I upgraded to 64 but the motherboard refuses to post at anything but 2133. When i remove one stick, it posts as normal at 3600(with 48 gigs). Anyone have this issue or know what might be causing it? i tested all the sticks individually and none have any issues. I also tested this on another 490 ftw motherboard and had the same issue.

Install one of the new sticks. Manually adjust the memory timings in the BIOs and make sure you can boot. If this is successful power down, install the remaining sticks and retest.

+1... sounds like you need a tick higher or two on ram voltage to run that much ram, which is very common. When you start filling all the slots and putting higher amounts of ram in it puts alot of extra strain on the imc. If the extra voltage doesnt help then it may just be a weak imc and youll have to make some decisions from there, like to get a different cpu or run your sticks at a much lower speed and timing and try to finesse them to work.
