I'm having no luck unzipping the files after 4 downloads and 2 different zip programs.

Not a site fault, it's a win 10 fault. Used my Samsung Note 9 to download the file and bluetooth it to my PC. Worked great. Stupid windows update.

I still can't change the led color on my x17 from the defaults. No matter where I click the color wheel does not come up.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, different ports, and different computers (intel and amd based systems).

I noticed recently I get stutters in games if I have the DPI higher then 1000hz, and it scales based on polling rate. 2000hz being the least stutters, 8000 being the worst.

Software won't run for me, no matter what I do the second I click to run the program it acts like it's about to start then instantly closes.

My there is no solution. Because Evga does not care that they sell a defective software.

Wy8840 I had the same problem.I tried  moving the USB for the mouse in every slot on my motherboard did not work. If your computer case have USB try one of them if you have 3.0 try first and then give it a second.Try it with the software running and then plug in your mouse, try it with software not running plug mouse in then turn start software.

I've tried every usb port on my mobo as well as every port on my case, it's not working. The second I plug in the mouse the software closes every single time, I'm sending it back. Nice looking mouse but the software is a no-go for me. Maybe in the future I'll pick up another to see if the issue has been fixed but for now I can't use it in this broken state.

The evga unleash software is truly a hopeless situation, evga seriously expects you to do a complete wipe and fresh install of your operating system in order for the software to function properly. The firmwareupdater has serious issues.

Also no way to change DPI or profiles on the X17 if Unleash software isnt installed. They won't even migrate from one computer to another.

Exactly why I'm sending it back. I'm not re-installing Win 10 just for a buggy app when I can just send it back and hope this issue is fixed in the future.

the sad part is, you do a clean windows 10 install, and install lets say UNLEASH RGB v 1.0.6.0 , it worked . YAY

As soon as 1.0.7.0. comes out, boom... you install it,  the app doesn't open anymore. Truly ridiculous. So in order to update the firmware, you need to use another computer with a completely fresh install . 1.0.8.0 same issue. Truly a hopeless situation.

This firmware version has been out for awhile now, so I've had ample time to use it.
I am pretty confident that the debounce fix makes it so that my mouse misses clicks. It never had the unintentional clicking issue to begin with, so it seems that this fix has moved it too far to the other side of the spectrum.
I would be more confident if I could get the firmware to revert to an older version, but nothing suggested elsewhere has done anything.

I've got the x17 mouse last year in August, and it stopped being recognized after about 6 months of use. The software EVGA provides offers DOESN'T WORK! I've tried installing 1.8 version and the 1.18. I don't know if it's Windows or EVGA's software but this is a major issue. I've created a ticket to see what support says. If you just bought your mouse and still have the receipt I would get a different one. If it's under warranty, make a claim.  I'm really disappointed that after all these posts from previous users here on this forum, EVGA hasn't sent a rep to acknowledge the issue let alone provide a solution. That shows this might not be the best company to support. I hope the EVGA people will prove me wrong. We shouldn't be having issues with mouse connections in 2022 unless it's some cheap after-market mouse. I bought this mouse in a desktop setup that I got through the MSI website which I had always considered a great brand. A brand new $3k computer with a 3080 video card and I can't get the mouse to work? Unless this gets fixed, I will be complaining to MSI as well for including a sub-par company in the bundles. I've made a ticket for the EVGA mouse to see what they say, if it's anything useful I will post their response on this board for future reference.
