Hello, I've been running on 1.07 pretty much since I got the mobo in 2019.
I have a i9-9900k, and I was running it at 4.9 GHz, with memory at 3800. After updating to 1.10 to get the most out of my new EVGA 3080 I am no longer able to run my old settings. It will not boot at 4.9 GHz.
My question is...does this really matter? Am I really getting any significant benefit from running the CPU with a base speed of 4.9 as opposed to letting it naturally BOOST to whatever speed it really needs? For instance I'm sitting at my desktop with resource monitor open and it says base speed 3.6 GHz but current speed is 4.68Ghz. Should I even mess with it to try and get a stable boot at a base speed of 4.9 or just let it naturally do it's thing when needed?
I was able to get the memory to run at 3800 again even though it's rated at 4133. I'm curious if the XMP profile will work now and maybe I should try that out to see if it'll boot as long as I don't mess with the CPU settings.
Anyway just thought I'd ask to see what others have tried and if you ran into the same issues. Thanks.
